I use the term "blog" very loosely here as this page won't really be a true blog as much as a place for me to share my periodic thoughts on the subject of vintage Halloween or anything else that relates. Sometimes there will be links, pictures, whatever comes to mind. Sometimes it will be a place for me to complain or rave about something exciting! So be sure to check back often and read up. :)

Hello again everyone! First of all I'd like to send out a hearty “Congratulations” to my good friend Johanna Parker on being featured in the Halloween issue of Phyllis Hoffman’s ‘Celebrate‘ magazine. Johanna’s folk art is wonderful and I have a number of pieces of hers in my collection. Be sure to check out the magazine!!

Secondly, pictured below is an item I just ran across listed on eBay. This has to be one of the most bizarre and odd Halloween decorations I have ever seen. A siamese twin skeleton?! To me the image of a skeleton at Halloween is meant to be more symbolic than an actual depiction of a medical birth defect. It’s not for me, but perhaps there are those who would love it! I'll be interested to see if it sells (I'm guessing it will).

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a nice summer and a fun Labor Day holiday. Our favorite time of the year is here! Autumn is at hand and in just a few weeks the world will be decked out in Halloween.

I have made an update to the “Collector’s Stories” to include a contribution from Brenda McNeilly. She was kind enough to share her wonderfully written article on Halloween collectibles. She articulately and succinctly puts into words how I (and I'm sure many of you) feel about Halloween and vintage Halloween collecting. Enjoy!

HELLO ALL! I am FINALLY back! After what has been the longest hiatus of my blog ever. Things have been busy this year and with the still slow economy, my Halloween collecting hasn't been as active as in past years.

I hope everyone had a wonderful winter and spring. Here we are now fully ensconced in summer! Happy July 4th to all! I hope everyone will have a fun and safe holiday celebrating our wonderful country.

I have made site update the ‘Links’ page. This past spring, Cali Lee launched her new website! I am thrilled to finally see a gallery of her fabulous work posted online. You can check it out here.

See you all again soon!
